The Silence

This is an explanation for why I wrote my new story - soon to be out.

Revelation  8:1 ”And when the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.”
Silence in Heaven for half an hour
1 day = 1000 years

½ hour = 21 years

What does silence mean?
Are all the creatures in heaven silent?
Is God himself silent?
  • The singing / worship has ceased.
  • The praise has stopped.
  • There is a collective pause. Selah.
  • No creation is being created.
  • No answered prayers – “my God why have you forsaken me?”
  • No new babies
  • No more animals
  • No new trees, shrubs, plants
  • The earth will become a wilderness in which no intervention from God becomes intervention from man against each other.

There will be a gnashing of teeth from those on the earth. Blaming God for not answering their prayers. Blaming God for their suffering. – Reference to Job.
Wars, pestilence, famine. Everything wasting away.
Man will attempt to create using their own technology: Biochemistry. Labs producing seeds and plants. DNA Cloning. Of man and animals. Sub / super human forms being produced, for food or wars.  The strong will survive. Rich becomes richer, poor will perish. Cannon fodder. The powerful will cull the unpowerful and reduce the earth’s population by 80% at least, in order to survive. World wide nuclear war will ensue. Nuclear winter will follow. Many areas where cities once stood would be void wastes. The climate will change. Changed through irradiated particles rushing through depleting oxygen and other gases. Survivors may even need gas masks to venture outside oxygen filtered climate controlled buildings.
Nuclear war and nuclear winters
Climate affectations. Adverse weather conditions around the planet. No carbon dioxide absorption rates drop. Oxygen depletion.
Strive and drive to space to escape the choking earth.
Silence before the commencement. Like the time waiting for the  five red lights to go out at the start of the formula 1 races. There’s mayhem in the preparation leading up to the start, then The pause before the action reaches full throttle. This is the Selah, before the great crescendo of the trumpets.
The surviving church or Believers will face similar conditions as the early Hebrews faced, in the days of the Exodus, wandering through a hostile, waste land, of famines, lack of fresh water, lack of food, of warring factions ready to ambush, attack and kill.
The church will need another Moses to guide the remnant through the perils of the last days.
The church will need another Joseph, placed into a powerful position in the new world Government, to build up storehouses of foodstuffs and grains to survive the famine and the dearth of new vegetation and meat. New technology enable long term (twenty plus years) storage of foodstocks.
The church will need another Noah, willing to listen and obey in the time before the silence, in order to be prepared for the time of the silence, to create a vessel, whether a building, a city or even a place of worship, for the survival of the believers from around the world.
Mean age of Population will be 20s – 40s. No old people. There would be no one or no resources to care for the elderly, sick or disabled. They will die or be culled.  No babies born. Illnesses may fall away due to lack of natural reproducing parasites, bugs and germs, but no healing skin, so slight injuries may kill. People will be looking after themselves, rather than others. There may be feral gangs of men and animals hunting each other.
The remnant of new believers have survived through the tribulation so far. They just need to get through the next half hour.
